In a world of crime the double C's has had its moments in the spotlight during some of the most violent and treacherous times in L.A history. The Mar Vista Gardens housing projects were built in 1954 and were mostly home to Caucasians, the 60's saw an influx of Latinos and by the 70's it had given birth to the local street gang. The western most project in LA is located in Culver City not too far from the beach, with only one entrance, this one way in and one way out layout has created a fortress like compound for the criminal element that governs the terrain. The rows of buildings line up together like a massive army of apartment structures that stretch out over 2 city blocks with grand parking lots. Known for the dangers that lurk within and high concentration of illegal activities, the jets are to be feared and respected if your are expecting safe passage.
